Day Fifteen Hundred and Sixty-Seven

The Birth of Landon

Welcome to the world, Baby Landon!
Thursday night, Adam, Amelia, and I were over at your house helping your parents through a few birthing details while your mommy labored gracefully (no exaggeration) on the couch, the ball, and the stairs. When we left her, she was contracting every minute and a half to two minutes for a solid thirty seconds. And so, we said our goodbyes and prayers and at 9:00 or so, they drove away to the hospital.

Now, I was fully prepared to visit the hospital once Daddy and Mommy were admitted to take some photos of your birth. Auntie was SUPER excited, but your mommy is such a warrior that even before she had time to blink, you were on your way out! She pushed just fifteen minutes and look at the beautiful, perfect, most handsome gift your parents were given ON CHRISTMAS!! 12:41AM on 12/25/2015!

You are more loved than you'll ever know, BabyChristmasBoy. And you have some of the most genuine, sweet, fun, and adventurous parents on this planet! They'll care for you in the best ways and raise you up in a safe environment, honoring Jesus on everything they do. In our prayers always, is that one day, you'll come to declare Jesus as King and Savior and that forever more, you'll find all your hope, peace, worth, and value in who He says you are. We are SO happy to meet you and can't wait to grow up alongside your precious face!

Love you Landon!
Merry Christmas, happy birthday, and kisses kisses kisses!
(And check out the onesie I made you!!!)

Oh and less importantly, but pretty neat as well...the Cougs won their first bowl game since 2003!! Millie, the good luck charm!
