Day Two Thousand and Fifty

The Good Life

She wasn't feeling completely herself - she woke up with a slight fever, a barking cough, and a weak voice - BUT she was well enough to play all the day long with her cousins. Her little body is quickly and efficiently fighting off whatever she has and it's a relief that she's already feeling and acting so much better.

Auntie Ellie's house is the most fun.
Paint. Play doh. Sand. Music. Toys. She has it all! Even aprons too!

We've been able to find rest here quite easily, which has been such a blessing to us.

Proof!
Can't say I mind this one bit. Give me all the babies! Give me all the naps!

And the best part of yesterday? Sweet Ella Mae got to meet her Nana and Papa finally! Great Grandma and Great Grandpa were quite the hit with Ella Mae and unlike her sister, she didn't make a peep when they held her! She loved their cozy arms and gentle voices and it made this Mama's heart warm witnessing the love between them.

Day Fifteen Hundred and Fifty-Four

The Farm Fun

Amelia and her cousins spent all day yesterday at a petting zoo farm!
It was one of the sweetest, most fun and exciting place we've ever been - and that's saying a lot!
The whole entire day was filled with so many firsts. Amelia spent her afternoon petting zoo animals, climbing hills, jumping on a gigantic oversized pillow, holding birds, eating lunch, hanging with Nana and Papa, riding tractors, sliding down tubes, playing duck races, and on and on and on. We loved our time with our cousins, auntie, and grandparents. And after all was said and done, I texted Adam to let him know that one day, I'll own a piece of land just like this and open it to the public. Seriously, I'm maybe more obsessed with the place than Amelia was! Thanks for the perfect time, my family! What a treasure it was to spend the past few days together! Enjoy our day from the iPhone pics below! And notice Henry's shirt we made him!!!
