The Summer of Fellowship

(July 8th)

Our summer has been FILLED with so much time alongside people we love. It is such a gift to be apart of a church body that is so involved in each other’s lives. We are thankful!

The foundation is officially prepped to be poured!

Concrete is next!!!!!!

The Farm-th of July!

It was their most-ever favorite way to spend the Fourth of July! These children LOVE Mrs. Pam’s Funny Farm and we’re so grateful for her always-open invite. 

But after a long day fighting off the nausea, our night ended a lot differently than we had planned. 

We were supposed to go downtown for the annual fireworks show, but to the kids’ disappointment, I couldn’t bring myself to walking around in that kind of heat while feeling the way I was. So, we went and got ice cream instead and drove around our neighborhood looking at all our neighbors’ firework displays. And you know, we probably got just as good a show as we would’ve if we’d gone downtown!

Poor Heater though. She cowered in the shower all night and was so so afraid :(

The Day Their Lives Changed Forever

One of the ladies at our church had been inviting us out to her farm and FINALLY, we were able to go and thoroughly enjoy the beautiful life her and her husband have created out in the Florida countryside. 

My children have *officially* found their happy place. I’ve never seen them so reluctant to leave. Fluffy the Chicken—her only actual pet chicken—has become the most popular subject in our home, with a close second and third being collecting (and hatching) eggs, and riding horses! We are so thankful to Mrs. Pam for allowing us into her life and onto her farm. The church body is just so special.
