I took five boys and two dogs to the woods for a hike AND IT WAS AWESOME!
There's nothing like a pack of boys to make your heart melt, squirm, and race all at the same time!
Meanwhile, the girls had their own girl-date with Mrs. Jenna. They got to paint nails, eat lunch, and learn all about the Proverbs 31 woman. Oh, the kindness of the Lord that I can partner with so many mamas and friends and likeminded women in my life who's purpose it is to reveal the glory of God and to share it even with my little babes!
It was SUCH a fun day! Because we’re finally HOME during this time of year, we’re able to see and experience so much more of our hometown than ever before. And it is just the sweetest. We’re settling down, loving our church body more than ever, and enjoying this tiny slice of Stuart paradise. We we fortunate to watch the Second Annual Stuart Cardboard Regatta Race, in which teams of two design a boat completely out of cardboard, paint, and duct tape, and then race around the buoy to defeat the competition WITHOUT sinking their ships! We had the best of times and plan on entering the races next year—each child practically begging me to please let them try! I continually find myself thanking the Lord for opening my eyes to how much better life at home and in the church body is than anything any career could ever afford us, and for taking us out of baseball when He did.
