Day 4,528

The Campers and Preppers

Drop Baby Sissy off at Camp time!

This big girl got to go to CBC Summer Camp all week all by herself and what a special treat it was!

And once the switch at noon happened, this big girl then got three hours all to herself with Mama and Daddy! Talk about special!

While they were gone, Molly and I finished up some crafting items for our bi-annual Handy fair. This year, Molly wanted to sell twirling ribbons, so here she is taping the stick with pretty washi tape!

All while the big kids spent three hours at their own CBC camp!

:)

When everyone was finally home, we finished up with helping Bearett make his “snacklaces” for the Handy Fair. Any chance for Bearett to interact with treats is definitely his thing.

And finally, a small preparation and example of what Amelia and Ella Mae chose to sell at the Handy Fair: Italian Sodas!

Day 4,184

The CCA Work Day

CCA work day!

Everybody: grab a rag and wipe something down!
It's time to make this campus shine!

"Mrs. Kendall, I can hold your coffee for you."
"Aw, thank you for being such a big helper!"

*I turn around and she's gulping my coffee*

We made lots of sweet memories alongside our forever friends on Saturday. Every year before school begins, the church prepares the campus by coming together to clean, organize, repaint, spray, distribute, and set up for the students entering their new classes. We've never yet been able to be apart of this special day--as we've always been gone for season--but we're so thankful that as the days go by, we're enjoying more and more of the fullness of our church body.

My heart is full.

My belly too.
(Anzac biscuits--look them up and make them. You won't be disappointed!)

:)

Day 4,182

The(y're) Growing Up So Fast!

No big deal. It's just my seven year old making oatmeal over the stove for breakfast. Oh my word, Time, PLEASE slow down!

Someday soon, she'll even be going to the REAL grocery store for me. I can't!

Let's just push *pause* for a second.
Ah, that's much better.

Please, three-year-old, serenade me with some Twinkle Twinkle while we pretend for five seconds that time is standing still.
