Day Four Hundred and Seventy-Eight

The Eve of '13

Smiling big...2012 was littered with high highs and low lows, lots of firsts, and lots of lasts. We're looking forward to a new year that just kind of coasts along, but knowing us, that's unlikely to happen! We can hope though!

Happy New Year 2013!!
We enjoyed this special night with a group of baseballers and their lovely ladies.

And yes, we danced the night away.
In front of a huge TV screen, that is. I could NOT believe I lured Adam into it! Adam dancing. It's almost an oxymoron. BUT, he did end up scoring 3 stars out of 5, so maybe this little video game did the trick in boosting his dancing-conscious! :) I sure hope so! He was too much fun to watch!

And guess what? I got to kiss the best kisser on the planet last night! Lucky me :)
Happy two-zero-one-three!

Day One Hundred and Thirteen

The New Year's Craving

I don't know what got ahold of me. But all day long, the only thing I could wrap my brain completely around was how much I wanted cornbread. So bad. So weird. Well, after too many hours of craving this most odd treat, I caved in and made some for the two of us. So much for the "no bread" diet I've been on since August. But I'll at least retire the day feeling satisfied.

We brought in 2012 across the street at the same place we enjoyed our first date here in Jupiter. We met new friends, sang too loud, and danced our tails off! (Yes, Adam danced...it was great!) I gave my husband the biggest married kiss I could muster at midnight, (we kept it PG, sheesh) and through a series of mishaps, found ourselves a bit on the sleepy side today. 2011 was a remarkable year and one that has forever changed our lives. A graduation, an engagement, a draft, a wedding, and a baptism marked our 365 days of 2011, so 2012 has much to live up to. And we can't wait to see where it and the Lord takes us this year!
