The Colors of Green
Prior to his second Ayudan event in Miami yesterday, Adam's morning began here. He answered a series of questions for the Marlins media team, played a few games of Minute to Win It, and had to sing for the camera - which I can imagine didn't go well. The guy is good at a lot of things, but singing...that's just not one of them!
Then, he was off for the 2nd Annual Jack McKeon Marlins Celebrity Golf Classic. Before leaving, Adam came back to the room, kissed me see-ya-later, gave Babe a hug, and spent the next 9 hours mostly on a golf cart. Turns out, he's not the best out there on the links. But he did manage a few usable swings and putts, and unlike last time, he actually got to play with left-handed clubs! With...little to no improvement. Apparently - like singing - golf isn't one of his strong suits either. Good thing there's baseball.
Meanwhile...back at the hotel, I had a 9 hour day to fill.
Usually that wouldn't be a problem in South Florida. But considering I'm hugely pregnant 63 degrees was the high yesterday, my options were limited. So, I thank you note wrote, rested, surfed Safari, and...walked. And walked. And ate spicy cheese. And tried my hardest to get Baby Girl to wiggle her way down. But...my efforts were in vain. She's still in there. And I'm starting to wonder just how long she'll stay...
