Day Five Hundred and Seventy-Four

The AA Debut

EXHALE!
Adam pitched in his first start of the 2013 season for the Jacksonville Suns yesterday and did...
AMAZING.
His debut couldn't have gone any better and I'm so, so proud of him.
Here he is in his pre-game bullpen with his picture and stats on the video board behind him.
This year, Adam is #4

My Hubs was as good as I've ever seen him yesterday. Excitement buzzed around the stadium as zeros lined the scoreboard. His three pitches were all working (yes, even the slider!!!!), though his velo wasn't as fast as it normally is. Presently, Adam is going through what is known as "dead arm," and even in the midst of that small struggle, he was outstanding.
His line for the night:
5IP, 1H, 0R, 0BB, 8K
He didn't get the win though, but instead, a got no-decision. The Suns didn't score until the 9th, so the W went to our closing pitcher.

He did hit 96 once and also 95...there it is on the screen.
(Oh, and see EverBank Field? That's not our stadium. That's the Jacksonville Jaguars' stadium!! We're located a parking lot away from them)

LOOK!
FRIENDS!
YAY!

Call me a silly woman, but things like this are interesting to me...so maybe they're interesting to you too? After the game, while we were walking to the truck, Adam gave an interview for MiLB over the phone. It's so funny listening to what he says and then the next day, reading it (or not when they get it wrong. Hahaha)!
