Day Four Hundred and Three

The Numbers Project

So yesterday, Adam and I were scheduled for our anniversary photo session. We spent all Tuesday washing and choosing clothes, finding a hammock, and Pinteresting neat poses. On Wednesday, after discovering some rad ideas, I drove to Michael's for some wooden numbers. Now, most couples that I saw on Pinterest used the number 1 for their prop during the shoot. But, I wanted something different, so I thought of this! 365 of course! I purchased the numbers but used the buralp, buttons, and scrapbook paper that I already had...and ended up with these cute things! (I was seriously, so excited about them!) I finished by noon and had a few hours before the appointment. So...Adam and I took a nap. Naturally. For two hours. And when I woke up, the photographer's receptionist lady was on the other line. I panicked. Had we overslept?! Please don't tell me it's 5:30! NOPE! Whew. Instead, she called to inform me that the weather wasn't looking great...60% chance of downpour by the time 6 o'clock rolled around. Of course! Lame! I hadn't been outside for more than 30 minutes since arriving to South Florida late Monday night, but the news of rain really didn't surprise me. So I took her word for it. That's when I heard the thunder. We had to reschedule for Monday, which thankfully gives us a little more time to plan this photo session and all the shots we'd like to accomplish. Yay for rain after all! Also, I think the extra time will help Adam crawl out of the sassy mood that's overcome him. He's turned into a sort of cave-dweller since coming home, not wanting to leave the apartment for anything other than workout and food. Ha! But I can't blame him. With all the travel, moves, and changes this past year, he's tired and needs space. Fair enough. I just hope this passes before next year rolls around! ;)

And Adam just now reminded me: Wordless Wednesdays. It hasn't even been one week and I already forgot! Oops. His fault: he should have told me yesterday!
