The Tempurpedic Temptress
On Tuesday, Adam began his offseason workouts. These consist of him waking up at 7:30 every morning for weights at 9:15. I don't know how he does it. Seriously, I think I would vomit from lack of sleep. But somehow, he's managed to get there on time (actually, an hour early every day) and put in quality reps. So far, upon stepping foot back inside our apartment following his workouts, he's headed straight to bed. And yesterday, I was still cuddled up under the covers fast asleep when he came in. Oops. Hey! It's only fair! My body was begging for it! And our bed...gosh it's comfy! When I woke up, Adam was still fast asleep. And that was boring. I mean, he's cute when he sleeps, but he's so much cuter when his eyeballs are open. Without touching him, I tried to giggle him awake. I had no such luck though. He was out. So, I just kept laying there. Because that was the responsible thing to do. I mean, someone had to make sure that the Boogie Man didn't attack my husband while his defenses were down!
When I did roll over to check the time, a shocking discovery slapped me right in the face. Immediately, I felt guilty that it was 1:35 in the afternoon and I hadn't moved more than a foot in 12 hours. But I shook it off...oh well. My bed was too comfy to worry about it.
When the two of us finally staggered out of bed, it was chore time. And I had a house full of them calling my name. So, we cleaned, and cleaned, and cleaned some more. We cleaned so much, in fact, that I found the missing mailbox keys that Adam lost before leaving to Washington. 3 weeks without checking a tiny mailbox is asking for trouble. I'm surprised the mailman managed to fit anything more into it! And now, instead of a mess of clothes and way too many scarves (I have a serious scarf obsession problem), I have stacks upon stacks of mail, receipts, and random papers to sort through. Yippee...
One step at a time! Love you and thank you for all of your help!
