The Hunterman Hangout
It turns out that moving a house 300 miles (rather, the contents of a house) will exhaust a person. Speaking from experience, that, in fact, is definitely the case. We are tired, fatigued, and completely worn out. And so, we did close to nothing today (well, Mom, Dan, and I actually did go to the gym!). Ellie hadn't seen Big Boy for almost a week...I hadn't seen him for almost 2 months. And because he's irresistibly gorgeous, we spent all our time hanging out with him! He's gotten so much bigger than the last time I saw him in July...and his hair is on its way to being almost as long as Uncle Adam's! He's cuter than ever, and his personality is just GIGANTIC. While the girls were chatting in the kitchen, Big Boy came out of the dining room today with Jackson (his very best friend) on a leash. He had hooked the leash on himself without any help (sooo smart!)...Hunter was saying, "Come on Jackson. Let's go. COME ON!"
Hunter is the best kitchen-help a girl could ask for. I might just hire him as my new Pinterest Partner. We could make a lot of cool creations together, him and I. He's a professional stirrer. For real. His favorite kitchen utensil is currently the rubber covered whisk and knows that he's supposed to always keep it inside the bowl while he's working. Smart boy. Tonight, we made some blueberry muffins with Mommy!
And once the dishes were all done from dinner, and the muffin tins washed, Hunter asked for a "sinkie." So, he got one! He's been taking these sinkies since he was 6 months old and still loves them. He still fits too!
Hunter discovered a new "toy" in the sink faucet tonight. On and off, he pulled the thing up and down giggling at the disappearing water trick. He laughed and laughed at this new discovery and continued playing with the lever until Mommy took him out. Gosh, I can't get over how precious he is! I just love him so much!!
