The Movers Turned Unpackers
They always say that unpacking is the easiest part. I disagree. It's just as bad as the move. Everything is misplaced, unmarked, and lost in a city of towering boxes. For two days, the silverware has been missing. Dad couldn't find his clothes and the shower curtain was MIA. But with a few hours and a bit of persistence, we unpacked the whole kitchen, the China hutch, and the Precious Moment display case. That was the best part. I'm in love with them. And to keep the wandering two-year-old busy and preoccupied, Ellie and I gave him the bubble wrap wrapping to pop while we worked. It worked like a charm.
Ta-Da!! The living room is looking great and almost finished. We still need to hang a few decorations, but for the most part, everything is in order. If only the rest of the house followed suit! The kitchen is almost done and the boys can manage their own rooms, so we really only have the dining room, bathrooms, and grandma Lolly's room to finish!
The Patriots played tonight (and lost), but as a die hard Pats fan, Hunter watched from the couch with Grandpa John. When the Pats score, Hunter throws his arms into the air and screams, "Touchdown Patriots!"
This is Hunter's rendition of "Call Me Maybe." He knows the whole chorus. It goes like this:
Hey, I just met you. And this is crazy. But here's my number...so call me maybe.
He's just too good to be true! This baby is the perfect one! SOOOO cute and SOO smart! But Uncle Adam said tonight, "Why can't you teach him a cool song, like Red Solo Cup?!" GOSH.
