Day Two Hundred and Ninety-Five

The Comfort of HOME!

Hey everyone, Adam again. This is our apartment ten minutes after moving in for the first time. I hardly saw the apartment before having to depart to my game which we unfortunately lost. I returned home with my beautiful wife after retrieving our bed we stored in the equipment shed at the clubhouse, to find everything cleaned, and in order. So in order, in fact, that we prepared a home-cooked meal for the first time in what seems like 2 months. We (mostly Kendall) made Chicken Teriyaki and rice. We planned on making Broccoli too, taking out a second pot however escaped us.

Here we are watching The Office. IN OUR OWN BED! We had to share this bowl to eat out of, and fought back and forth over the scrumptious chicken inside. I'm left-handed and sat at her right...we kept getting in each others way, but got our fill nonetheless. We are so grateful for the life we have been given and have done our best to keep things in perspective. Moving so much in the past year has humbled us and kept us flexible for sure. Even when life gets complicated I still have God and Kendall to keep me grounded, and happy. What a fortunate life we all live, we can't wait to see what is in store for us next!
