Day Two Hundred and Seventy-Two

The Myron Noodleman Show

Dressed in a pair of cropped gray pants, tall volleyball socks, and a dark blazer, Myron Noodleman entertained a crowd of 6,200 at the Hopper's game tonight. He's a popular MC/clown at the minor league level who travels to all sorts of fields with his overgrown teeth and silly tricks. And although he was funny at times, I'd have to say that the real star of tonight's show was given by Greg Nappo, a fellow pitcher and Greensboro All-Star. With a big fat smile lighting up his face, our only left-handed reliever was certainly a joy to watch out there!

It feels so good being back home...and in the arms of our dear friends once again. We love, LOVE, watching the game from the comfort of Bob's box. Couldn't have asked for better people to share all my days with!
We lost again tonight, though. These past two series have taken a lot out of the boys, and finally, for the next 9 days, they'll get to sleep in their own beds. And let me tell you, they need it! We're currently in 1st place, but with 4 losses in a row, our lead has dwindled from 6 1/2 games ahead, to only 2 1/2. Yikes! Hopefully tomorrow we can turn it around! C'mon Hoppers!
