Day Sixty-Two

The Egg Thrower

Yep, that's my man. And yes, that's a spinning raw egg mid-flight. And yes, he's basically a pro now...professional baseball player turned egg thrower? Hmmm...at least we'll know where to look for a job once he retires (I'd better be 40 by then, Adam...)! Only a block away, Hokkaido Hibachi has been a date night idea since our arrival and tonight we certainly got a taste. Mix entertainment, food, fire, and pranks and you get this hidden gem of a restaurant. The chef's culinary skills were mesmerizing, and I wouldn't be lying if I said that I paid more attention to him than my own husband during dinner. I don't think Adam missed me too much though...he was suffering the same hypnotism as I was! And oh.my.word. I could eat there every day if it were up to me! The food was outstanding. The preparation, outrageous. And the chefs, incredible. The only problem now is keeping Adam content with his wife's sub-par, meager, unimpressive kitchen performance. Maybe it's time I take a class or two?

(Forgotten camera = cell phone photo. Oops)

And, of course, HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY to my youngest sister, Morgan! What a beautiful woman she's become! I hope her 11.11.11 day was one she remembers forever. Also, a big shout out to my Papa, brother, and many more friends and family who've served our country. It's people like you who've made the life I live, a free one. Thank you.
