Day 4,223

The Together Forever Learning

"Creation to the Greeks" is the title of our My Father's World curriculum this year and currently, we are learning all about ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, and the Fertile Crescent (fascinating stuff, linking us to familiar lands that we read about in the Bible!!). The kids acted out the battle between the kings of Upper and Lower Egypt, with Amelia (Upper Egypt) being victorious in the end. They're really enjoying what they're learning so far--between the birthplace of Abraham, to his journey about the Fertile Crescent, to his arrival in Egypt, to the Nile River and all its usefulness, we are having TONS of fun!

And that we get to spend our time together learning, I'm just so thankful.
It may not always be easy or clean or quiet or organized, but it is so lovely, so rewarding, and such a blessing to be able to teach our children the truths about God, His creation, His purpose, and His salvation through their hours spent in school.

To have that partnership alongside our church body, with our pastors, and with our school, all who are teaching the same things we teach and reinforcing Biblical truth that we desperately desire our children to know, we are grateful.
