The Grand Return
Went to the property to begin *attempting* to root up our invasive air potato vines that are currently overrunning our tree lined perimeter. Ella Mae was the most enthusiastic, sprinting out to the trees yelling, “this tree!! We have to save you, tree!”

These things are called air potatoes. They’re an invasive vine from Asia (I think), and the stupid things grow up to 8 inches a day by twisting up and foliage and covering it in their beautiful heart shaped leaves.

“Die you bad plant!”

Even though they sweated incredibly and got lots of bug bites, they LOVE being on their property and can’t wait to go back each time as it continues turning into our forever home.

After work, we played!!

Our friends!
I don’t know if they’ve ever been so happy.
On second thought, the moment we pulled up to church for their Wednesday Kids for Truth, they SPRINTED out of the car and to their classes, yelling and squealing and not even bothering saying goodbye to their own Mama! Maybe that’s the happiest I’ve ever seen them.

Ah, I can’t even describe how good it is to be back. We are loving every second and that is by no means an exaggeration. We missed you, CBC! Nothing like it.

The only thing that would make it better is if he were here with us. We miss you Daddy!!
