The Coziest Cottage
There’s nothing quite like cuddling your best buddy in bed. These two continue to “practice” sleeping without Mommy, and so a mattress remains at the side of our bed. Molly is placed there when she falls asleep and Ella Mae usually comes in about three hours before we wake up in the morning. It’s progression for one and regression for the other, but considering all the moving and bed inconsistencies, they’re doing great and thankfully, they have each other to hold instead of always requiring Mama

Tuesday was thankfully a slower paced hang out day. The kids worked on the fort, which was quite the project.

Everyone pitched in, but Bubba was the mastermind and continued adding sticks and tying vines throughout the afternoon.

Meanwhile, inside, I suppose I could’ve been making a banana fort with the excessive amount of bananas I received in our Instacart order. It’s happened to me only one other time that when I ordered six bananas, they delivered six BUNCHES of bananas! Hello banana bread and smoothies!

We ventured out to the game and came home with Daddy around 10:30. Isn’t this little cottage just the cutest?! It made us smile every time we drove up to it. We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs in our day, but nothing this adorable and cozy.

I did manage to turn it into a complete explosion of clothes, however. After a week in Norfolk, we were in desperate need of a laundry night and well, this was it!

Goodnight from a pile—literally—of Conley kids in another bed! These babes and so resilient. And they’re enjoying all the excitement of new adventures. We have this place until Thursday, when we finally move into an apartment that we will call home either until the end of season or until Adam is called up or traded to another team.
