The Goodbye Dive

Our morning was not our favorite ever. Dad got up “early” for his bus at 9 and said goodbye to sleepy children still in their beds at 8:15. Thankfully, our neighbor was able and even offered to watch our babes while I took him to the field, so we enjoyed a miniature date prior to him leaving this Adam-obsessed Mama for two weeks. Love you, Daddy and miss you already. 

While Mommy continued packing, the kids did a great job keeping themselves occupied. 

Eventually, we needed some fun in the sun, so we went on one last day date with our neighbor friends and spent the afternoon in the pool. 

We did straddles off the high dive.

And actual dives on the high dive for the first time ever!!

With all the babes doing all their tricks, I felt it most necessary to remind the kids who’s boss of the diving board still. Backflip Mama. Better believe it!



And then, we passed right out after all that jumping and smiling. Not a bad way to spend the day after saying bye to Daddy. Thanks again for loving us so well, Upshaw family!!
