Day 3,303

The Field and Farm

You might not be able to see him well, but...
THAT’S BUB ON A BASEBALL FIELD!
And because Governor DeSantis opened Florida up completely two days ago, we are free to roam about without masks. And oh my word, did we finally see some smiling faces! The boys are excited, the parents are excited, and goodness are we ready for those good ol’ fashioned belly laughs that intrinsically come with coach pitch baseball!
LET’S GO BRAVES!

Yesterday was yet another extremely long, hot, but especially fun day. Not only did Bearett get to play baseball for the first time in nearly a year, but the two big girls got to skip their naps and attend a horseback riding birthday party with their gymnastics friends!

Which naturally meant...

Another nap time with Daddy.
She’s the only babe that’s EVER done this and I’m sure thankful—both that she’ll sleep for him AND that he loves cozying up with her and holding down the fort when I leave.

While Molly napped (for over THREE hours), Bearett and Daddy read the entire “Odyssey,” which we just received from a book company called Usborne. Bearett hasn’t put his new books down since early yesterday morning. Literally, all he wants to do right now is read The Odyssey and also Robin Hood. This child is incredible.

Meanwhile, back at the farm...

(A picture for you, Nana!!)

We had the BEST time celebrating Kaylin and Leah and are so thankful for the invitation. Amelia and Kaylin are best buddies at gymnastics and always next to each other whenever possible. It’s pretty adorable, considering the two of them met when they were three years old at our gym’s Mommy and Me class! Ella Mae and Leah have become friends through their own Mommy and Me classes as well as sitting in the waiting area at the gym, waiting for their big sisters to be done with class.

Happy birthday ladies!

On the way home, we saw cows standing belly high in water. We thought it was funny.

After four hours at the farm and two at the baseball field, with no naps and junk food in our bellies, finding sleep was easy. And once again, the girls manage every night to somehow sleep in nearly the same position as each other. We think it’s the cutest darn thing.

Goodnight!
