Day 3,200

The Conley Quarantine: Day 75

With Bubba at camp this week, it was time for a girl date at Walmart. We had a little shopping for him to do for his birthday anyways, so we made a trip out of it. And somehow, we always end up in the toy section (oh the nostalgia is coming on strong!). The big girls both made off with a new purse set.

Molly on the other hand...

She was content well enough with her ten second cat naps in various places across the store. I’ve never seen a child—especially MY child—do this in my life. Ok. Whelp. Yep. That happened.
Molly, you make Mama smile SO big. I’m loving experiencing these new personalities of my children; each so incredibly unique.

In other news:
Baseball is currently at a standstill.
The Commissioner said a few days ago we would 100% be playing baseball this year. Last night he reiterated to say that he wasn’t sure there would be a 2020 season. So. Yeah, not sure what’s happening and we’re pretty much without a timeframe.

—BUT—
Adam is using this time even still, to speak into the lives of some of his teammates who have twice weekly, been meeting him on Zoom to do a Bible study together. It’s been SUCH a joy and excitement for him to lead this group of men as they’re eager to open God’s word together to see what it says. In all our years in baseball, we’ve yet to encounter this multitude of likeminded fellowship. What a gift the Lord has given us!

For our home to yours, rest well and rest cozy! That’s how we do it here!
