The Conley Quarantine: Day 32
Our version of church lately is certainly lacking in so many ways BUT, we are thankful that even through all of this, our church is able to collectively watch Pastor Phillip preach the Word of God faithfully each Sunday. What a blessing - and one we would be fools to overlook.
Since these babes are usually at kids church during our main morning sermon, Adam decided to change things up a bit. Following our family worship time, he gave the children direction to mimic church on their own outside. Bearett was tasked to use his school “Bible Reader” to read a portion of scripture out loud to the girls. After reading it (since he can mostly read now!!!), he was to explain to them what the text said and together, they were all to talk about it. To conclude, Bearett was told to pray over what they learned. And they totally did it!! I’m so thankful for Adam’s thoughtfulness in this - what a sweet way to encourage our babes to love and serve each other well and in the way God designed.
Mama is CRAZY about you, Bearett, Amelia, Ella Mae, and Molly!!! I just...ah. I’m just so completely grateful.
