The Date Gift
So, not only did we have friends come down for the night, but those same friends stayed the night at our house...woke up...cooked our kids breakfast...and sent Dada and Mama (and Molly) on a morning date!! I can’t say enough how grateful we are for this sweet and thoughtful gift. Truly, we are so blessed by our church, even from far away during season. My friends, thank you. Thank you thank you thank you. This meant the world to us!!
In other news, my kids were especially tired after waking up at EIGHT AM with their friend yesterday. Because of this, I knew they’d take a reasonably long and hard nap. This is the girls about 38 seconds post-nap. Mom was right!
And in other other news, we went to the game in order to spend some more time with Dad last night because his next series is in San Diego and we won’t see him for a week. The game went relatively fast, so we stayed till the end and the two big kids got to hop on the cart up to his truck and ride home with Daddy!
