Day 2,781

The Off Day at the Big House!

This is the face I immediately made when I realized just how off my blog titles are. Thanks Molly. I ran a Google search on the number of days between the first day I started this blog (September 10, 2011) and yesterday - pretty certain every day is accounted for - and turns out I’ve been at this effort for 2,781 days and NOT 2,486! An almost 300 day difference haha! Not sure where I mixed my numbers, but I l’ll blame the kids. Yeah. The kids did it. Made me tired and sloppy. All their fault. So whom ever eventually puts this into book form for me one day...sorry, but please fix it ;)

We got to spend nearly 24 hours with Daddy at home following his Sunday day game and Monday off day. He drove the hour and a half home on Easter night and spent all the way up to nap time Monday, hanging out AT THE BIG HOUSE(!!!) with us!! He was so happy. We were so happy. There’s just something about being home home together during season that is just SO incredibly special. 

Saying goodbye still sucks the same though. 

I don’t cry as much as I used to. But now my Amelia shares the tears with me. We hate the goodbye. Dread it. However, I’m so thankful I have my babies by my side to keep me company, to give me purpose, and to make me smile. 



Until we see you again Dada, WE LOVE YOU!!! And we miss you like crazy already.
