The Saturday Spectacular
We spent another night at the field yesterday, unplanned but: Bearett (BADLY) needed a hair cut, and Mr. Juice’s barbershop is right outside Daddy’s clubhouse. Score for this Mama of four.

And more importantly, we went to hug one of the dearest blessings the Lord has given me through baseball: Kelli. It was three (four?) years ago that our paths crossed in New Orleans, and ever since, she’s remained a loyal, faithful, cherished friend, even from afar. Her and her husband (who played with Adam parts of two seasons) were here in miami on half business, half vacation and made sure to see us and catch up for a few innings! I remember well the days Kelli held Amelia when she was only just a bit bigger than this! Fast forward 3.5 years and she’s now holding my FOURTH!
Incredibly thankful for you, my friend.
Last night made me miss you more than I knew. Baseball is different now. With my own maturing as a Believer, as a mom of four, and as a part time secretary to my husband haha, I lack time and energy. My ministry has changed from the women at the field to the babies in my home, but it’s friendships like these that remind me of the kindness of Christ to provide specifically for our needs over every season of our lives. He is so good. What a treasure you are, Kelli.

We wrapped up our special night with fireworks at the park.

And selfies in the bed while we waited on Daddy.

Sunburned selfies.
Silly selfies.

And just the perfect amount of cuddles!
