Day 2,476

The Pregame Plan

Some days, intentionally putting your face into a box of LEGOs about sums it up.

Thankfully, that was not an accurate description of yesterday!
We did some school - Bearett is on lesson 96 of “Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Lessons!” Then we did some pool - Molly finally let me swim with the big kids after several failed attempts of her napping at the pool. Turns out, this tiny princess wasn’t cozy enough in her stroller, so Mom brought the sleepy boppy down aaaaand...ta da!

And last of all, we had a half hour date with Dada before last night’s game!

We’re trying to be extremely intentional with our time, so we’ve come up with something new. When possible, we’re going to eat supper with Daddy at the field before his game and then play with him until he has to leave!

It didn’t work out perfectly yesterday, as our 6PM planned arrival turned into 6:20. But even those 30 extra minutes we got with him were worth it and we look forward to more pregame moments with our favorite guy.
