The Elusive Stove: A Catalyst
"Dad! Mom!! Mushrooms! Look!!"
Mom and Dad screaming simultaneously, "ELLA MAE NOOOOOO! DON'T TOUCH!!!"
We're no botantists, so she got an immediate "best we got" water hand wash as we hoped for no side effects. I think we're good. And the mushroom was likely totally harmless. But you just can never be too sure in this neck of the country.
We took an hour long bike ride/walk with the kiddies because our days keep filling up with super lame errands. Yesterday, it was a trip to Home Depot after our walk to buy a new range. After sitting down and getting ready to purchase our new stove, we were informed that it couldn't be delivered until NEXT Friday at the earliest. Uhhhhhm. Uhhh. No. Whaaaaat?! The day after Thanksgiving? We left bummed, anxious, and still without an oven.
And so, we ate out once again - this time, Mexican food. Thankfully, it turned out to be both delicious and the catalyst to Ella Mae's first ever potty on the toilet!!!
Hooray!!!
Hooray!!!
You win some, you lose some.
And in this case, our day was won.
Even without a stove.
