The Longest Day
I tried my best at distracting them with fun things ALL day.
Anything to keep them occupied and out of the packing crosshairs that is baseball life.
It didn’t work as well as I’d planned. I can’t give up my cuddles though - well, SHE wont give them up either - but it’s days like yesterday that I wish I was able to put her in a crib from time to time and her sleep without me having to hold her for so long. Oh well, this is us and if it means I stay up until 2:15AM finishing packing and cleaning for our trip, then so be it. Let the kid sleep on you!
I did have a lot of help yesterday though, and for that I am SO grateful. I wouldn’t have gotten ANY sleep if it weren’t for a couple of dear friends who just helped to serve me well last night. What a treasure.
