The Sweetest Giff!

You know those shirts you can buy that say “my dad is cooler than yours” or “my dad can beat your dad up?” Though I fully believe in those sentiments regarding my husband, I tend to err on the side of not bragging and keeping my thoughts - and shirts - to myself. Even if it’s just a joke (It’s not a joke - he really is cooler than yours and he can beat you up haha). Well today, I’m breaking my rules and straight up bragging. My aunt is better than yours and she’s more thoughtful, creative, and precious than yours too! There. I said it. And I feel better now. 

Guys. Yesterday Amelia received her birthday present(s) from Auntie Kim and this is what she opened!! A completely homemade Sweet Treats box FILLED with sweet goodies for our sweetest little three year old. I mean, seriously?! The wrapping paper, the gifts, the cutouts, the time, the energy, the thoughtfulness. I’m just beside myself and so very grateful for your sweet heart, Kim. Amelia hasn’t stopped rummaging through her box since the moment she got it. You’re truly the best and we love you. 

So, back up to the beginning of the day and here is our tiny Ella Mae FLOATING and doing it ALL BY HERSELF (not pictured)!!! She held a float for 12 seconds alone yesterday. WE LOVE ISR AND MRS GINA!!

The big kids are getting better and better by the day - floating pros by the end of summer for sure. 

Fast forward back to early evening when Amelia opened her gift - this was the aftermath. 

And clothed literally from head to toe from her present box, she went to church in her new cupcake nightgown. Auntie Kim, you speak Amelia’s love language. And you speak it well ;)
