Day 2,345

The Computer Church

Sick kid, Day Two. This is when I’m especially grateful for church live streaming. There’s obviously no replacement for the physical attendance when it comes to corporate worship, however, there’s certainly a time and place for online church and this is one of them! My babes slept through the entire sermon, making it the first one I’ve had uninterrupted access to in...uh...a long time.

At the very end, Amelia woke up, looked at the screen and pointed, “My Dada’s at church!!” It was the most excited I saw her all day. Such a sweetheart.

She’s feeling completely normal today (thank goodness), I’m thinking largely due to the constant regimen we had her on over the past two days. Between the elderberry syrup, the Bentonite clay bath, the ACV, vitamin D, spoonfuls of minced garlic cloves covered in honey, tea, naps, essential oils, and herbal throat soothers, we think we may have found the two-day Cure Concoction for winter’s nasty bugs.

Im pumping their little bodies full of local elderberry syrup now and kicking myself for not having it on hand after running out last week. This stuff really works!! And it tastes great too. That and naps. Just ask Bearett. He sleeps most days just as his name would suggest - like a bear. And wakes up like one. But as long as he’s a healthy one, I don’t mind the cute and grumpy face one bit! Just like his Daddy! Seriously though, find some local or even some organic elderberry syrup and slurp a couple teaspoons a day during flu season. It’ll help keep you ahead of the bug or shorten your bug battle if you end up with one!

Sunday online church: Round Two. Boys there, girls home. Not a bad setup at all, considering.
