The CBC Women’s Conference
While Ella Mae and I were attending the sweetest, most thoughtful and thorough teaching women’s conference I’ve ever been to...

...complete with even my grandmother’s lace table cloth(!!! our church is just the best)...

...while we sang and worshipped and learned and fellowshipped...

...this was the scene at home.
Dad had the big kids from 7 AM until 2:30 and when I finally arrived home, they had watched at least two movies and sat around even more. Why?

Well because at 4AM, we woke up to this. Amelia caught a bug. Fever and snot and a little bit of a cough. And instead of me having to miss the women’s conference at my church, Adam selflessly offered to stay and care for her (and Bear) so that I could go and be challenged, edified, encouraged, and taught while surrounded by likeminded women who love the Lord. It was a sweet grace to me in so many ways and I’m thankful that though my babe was sick at home without me, I had the greatest caregiver I could ever ask for, there by her side. She’s moving slowly and taking advantage of this HUGE movie binge, but we’re hoping that with all the rest, apple cider vinegar, elderberries, honey, garlic, tea, essential oils, and apple juice, that she’ll bounce back quickly without infecting the rest of us!!
Thank you Daddy for being so good to us and for loving our family so well. You’re the best in every way. And thank you CBC for a lovely women’s conference. You’re the best in every way too!!
