The Eve’s Eve
Bearett learned his first lesson in flag football yesterday: the end zone is the OTHER WAY. It’s ok buddy, the other boys have three years on you. Plus, baseball is better anyways. (Bearett is the furthest to the right pictured above. He’s supposed to be running in the opposite direction, which he was...until the boys started chasing him. Haha!)
He enlisted his sister to show him the ropes. She was breakin’ ankles. Naturally.
And EllaMater (like “alligator” but with different letters of course - Dad’s nickname), she watched the whole entire time smiling from her carriage. Mom even worked out while this all transpired AND Dad played catch into his huge throwing net.
Then we rode home on the tailgate like the big kids down the street do. It was a god day.
And a good night too!! Miss Dana visited us for supper and company and she of course showed up with a HAUL of gifts. Her thoughtfulness is unmatched and we appreciate her generously with great admiration.
Ella Mae loves you almost as much as the ribbon on her new giraffe!
Thank you so much, once again, Dana.
We are grateful for the effort and love you pour over us and our family. We treasure your heart and delight in your presence. Merry Christmas, friend!
