Day 2,263

The Grateful Five

Thankful in abundance for what the Lord has entrusted me with. I am overwhelmed and overjoyed by His grace and daily mercies that highlight my life constantly. Thank You.

Yesterday, Ella Mae tried eating all Bearett's supper.

Yesterday, Dad and babes made the syrup and butter glaze for the perfect turkey.

He also peeled apples for my perfect homemade pie.

They made 'crackers' for said pie.

See the (leaf) crackers? Basically culinary perfection.

Yesterday we prayed and thanked God for all He's given us - most importantly for His sinless Son as a ransom.

Yesterday, they baited a line and attempted to fish.

They were wildly unsuccessful, but nobody got eaten by an alligator or bit by a snake, so we were grateful for that too.

Yesterday, Amelia also blew spit bubbles out of the blow gun.

That made us laugh.

Yesterday, it was a bunch of Conleys just doing Conley things. And that's the perfect way to recognize just exactly what it is to remember to give thanks for it all.
