Day 2,257

The Completed Projects of Friday

Projects, projects, projects!! We only have 4 1/2 months every year to accomplish the things that most can do throughout the year as weekend projects, and so, we're staying busy and finding joy in the progress.

During one of the early stages of the adoption process, I had envisioned a huge picture wall that would encourage Bearett to recognize his permanent place in our family and home. While in Spokane in October, we had our first set of family photos taken for this specific purpose. After ordering all twelve frames and printing the pictures, we were finally ready to see it come to life. Our helpers laid tape and measured accurately.

After the tape was placed, we took a break and headed to Whole Foods, where Ella Mae rode big girl in the cart for the very first time!

Back home, Dada worked hard to finish up, while Mama started another side project of peanut butter and jelly mastery.

I got the sandwiches mastered. Adam got the wall mastered. I could cry. It's just what I was hoping for and besides needing some sort of "Conley" something at the top of it, it's absolutely perfect.
