Day Eighteen Hundred and Sixty-Nine

The Exhaustion Just Won't Let Up

I'm tired. I'm really, really tired. And it seems like I just can't catch a break. So in my dismal drudge yesterday, I served Amelia cereal for the second day in a row and let her slurp all the milk from both our bowls. Not that cereal is something for only tired moms (that's not what I'm saying), but just that Amelia really likes some combination of eggs/sausage/oatmeal/berries/panacakes/toast/yogurt for breakfast and doesn't really prefer cereal. Well, except the milk drinking part. But I made her eat it two days in a row and she didn't die. Or starve. Just some puke. So there's that.

And then I let her watch an hour and a half of "show" because I had five loads of laundry to fold and a house that's been neglected for about 13 days too long. Did I mention I was tired? At least she's still smiling. And at least Dad still loves me because I've been mostly unlovable lately. He's been helping out SO much and serving me endlessly and I just can't thank him enough. What a gift, a treasure, a grace and mercy God has given me through Adam. Love you so much Berp! But sometimes I wish you knew how to fold clothes as good as me too ;)
