Day Eighteen Hundred and Thirty-Three

The Last 20

We've been married now for 1,833 days and this is what we have to show for it. Terrifying, right?! But at least we can still put a smile on each other's faces! Working on Amelia though. She's not impressed with our lame humor or face swapping antics.

Us on the other hand, we're totally impressed with her personally-picked outfit of the day.

Mom's tee and Dad's spandex workout pants. Tied in a knot for style and efficiency. I say she's doing pretty good for only being alive a year and a half.

And I'm doing pretty good being alive 29 years. Last night, we went out for my birthday dinner with all our buddies to celebrate my last hurrah before 30 sucks me into a new realm of middle-agedness. But they are saying 30 is the new 20 (right??), so maybe 30 won't be so scary after all. I'll let you know in a year. But for now, I'll be partying hard and living up my 10th and final year as a twenty-something. And by partying, I mean toddler parties and baby showers and dance offs with Amelia.  And by living it up, I mean eating ice cream from the container without working out, sitting on my couch with no makeup and the husband rubbing my feet. Yes.

And of course, shopping sprees at Target. 29 is the life, people.
