Day Seventeen Hundred and Eighty

The Twenty-First 2016 Start

Livin. Dreamin.
And livin the dream.
Yesterday was a good one and I'm so glad we got to share it with such special people.

Adam pitched 6 2/3 innings of shutout baseball, but even more impressive was how well he did at the plate. With one sac bunt, a sac fly, a hit, and two RBIs, Adam officially enjoyed his best game ever as a hitter!

He even got praises from our hitting coach, Barry Bonds.

Not bad, Adam. Not bad at all!

We were all smiles - and all matching - yesterday!!

I'm going to miss you three something fierce when we say goodbye. You've made the last two weeks such a joy and a much needed change of pace. Thank you for the help, the cuddles, the comfort, and the company. I hate that we live so far apart and it's easily the hardest thing about this lifestyle. Who's gonna cook me breakfast now?!!

(Adam scoring from third!)

Love you, my people!!

So, SO much.

And happy 53rd anniversary to our friends Sondra and Dennis! We love you both too and are so grateful we have such a strong, Godly marriage to look to for wisdom and grace.

Best buds. Just missing Bearett!

Cheese!
Errrrr, tongue?!

Hahaha Mimi, you silly girl!

Post game shenanigans - my heart just can't handle the joy they bring to our lives. Yesterday, you were so good to us.

Adam's line:
6.2IP, 8H, 0R, 3BB, 6K and the W with 1 hit and 2 RBIs!!!!!
He's now 7-5 with a 3.38 ERA. (Woooo!)

  1. Words cannot express our joy being with you. It was over the top with excitement (well perhaps disregarding the 3 hour drive to Miami. Excitment not so much). But so worth it. An anniversary which will remain forever in our hearts. Great game Adam and so much fun being with y'all. Let's do it again!!!! Love you so much.
