Mimi was cheering for him too! Last night, he climbed one step closer to the historic achievement with a single in the seventh (I think it was the seventh. Maybe the sixth?). And you better believe it, when Ichiro hits his 3,000th, Amelia and I will be popping champagne bottles and blowing kazoos in the stands. Figuratively, of course. Adam and I have been watching Ichiro play the game ever since we were kids in Washington State growing up as Mariners fans and it's still so surreal that we get the opportunity to live these moments alongside him. Three more, Ichiro!!

Look who's come to visit for the next few days! Alejandra!!! We're so happy to have her here with us - the last time her and Hunter saw each other was four years ago when Hunter was Amelia's age!
He's so glad to have his "Chiquitica" back in his life.
And I am too.
