The 30th Week
Dear Little Love,
Girlfriend! We're almost there! 2 more months! That's it!!
Then you can kick your legs in the air and not feel the slightest bit of resistance! Whatchya think of that?!
I know you're getting antsy to get out. I can tell. You're moving around in there in a new way that I've not felt yet. It's like you're growing out of space or something...hopefully you're still cozy though? At multiple points during the day, you push really hard against my tummy, which makes it a funny, lopsided shape! Most of the time, I let you do your thing, but sometimes, I sorta have to massage you backwards because it's a lot of pressure! But Daddy and I love it! We can't tell which part of you is where though. So sorry if you get a head massage instead of a foot massage. I rub nice and easy...I read a book that said you might like that...I'm banking on the fact that you do. It was always my favorite thing growing up...your grandma would rub my head and play with my hair until I fell asleep. It's the best, most comforting feeling. That's something I'll do for you too. We'll have to get Dad on board though...he's not the head-rubber type. But your cute face will change all that! Mwahaha!
Ok, so in THIRTY weeks, you've grown to the size of a cabbage! Oh my! You're probably right at 3 pounds and around 16 inches long. This week, we were really busy and tired and actually had to miss one of our workouts. Ah! I don't like doing that to us, but Daddy thought it would be better if we stayed home and rested instead. I think he was right. I was worried that I might start getting sick, so I'm glad Papa made the final decision. He's so smart. You're just gonna love him. The three of us are going to make the best team and I can't wait to watch it happen! I love you to pieces, Little Munchkin. Keep on kicking and keep on growing! So so so much love!
XOXO,
Mommy (Daddy too!)
