Day One Thousand and Seventy-Five

The Truth

So, we have a little surprise.

Little in size, at least.

Think pea pod.

It won't be that small for long though.

Remember back to Day 1,018?

We were still in NOLA, enjoying our first off day in, well, a long time.

Cuz that's how it goes in baseball.

It was a day we'll never forget. But we intentionally left that part out. Oops.

I mean, the WWII museum was incredible. Absolutely make time to visit if you ever find yourself deep in Louisiana on a rainy day - which is most days.

But what we sorta left out of that day was maybe the BIGGEST BLESSING (and secret) of our entire lives...

Surprise!!!

BABY CONLEY IS COMING, Y'ALL!

We have a whole lot to explain, and that'll happen over the next few days and months. I can't wait to spill everything!! So exciting! 

But for quick answers now:

1) We're thirteen weeks!

2) Baby's heartbeat was 152 and we heard it!

3) We've had four appointments

4) Little Conley has LOTS of energy and already hiccups

5) Next appointment is September 15th 

6) No morning sickness, just insane food aversions and extreme sleepiness

7) Daddy is the very best helper

8) Tiny Blessing the length of a pea pod!

9) We're due February 23 - the perfect baseball timing

10) WE'RE HAVING A KID!

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

We are so excited. So nervous. And so thankful that the Lord would trust us with this little life.
