The Bus and New Bed-Mate
He loaded the bus again yesterday.
And left (me) for 6 days.
How I see it: 6...better than 10. But still, I'm not so happy about it.
Once again, I waved goodbye from my 19th story view, as the (new) bus drove my sweet Hubby away from me. I don't much like that bus. We have problems with each other. For one, that darn thing steals my roommate every 5 to 10 days. Second, the driver smokes. And third, the thing is quite small in comparison to Greensboro's. No beds on this one. No internet. And no...
A/C!!!! Uhhhhh??? What?!!!!
We're in FLORIDA, people. No A/C is basically a crime down here. And yesterday, the back of the bus' air conditioning just stopped working. That's right...no A/C at the back of the bus. Then all the outlets went out. Drowning in their own sweat, this apparently was how they handled it. So funny...but so not funny.
(This photo is not mine or Adam's...but one of the player's.)
There is a silver lining in Adam's departure this time...
I GOT A NEW ROOMMATE!
Yahoo!!!
LeeAnn moved right in after Adam ditched me (hahaha) and now we get to spend the next few days together! I'm quite enjoying her company, and am so thankful for a friend here who's real, true, and so completely lovely. We're each navigating our own way through this baseball life...but it's just so much sweeter with another woman to share it with, who knows exactly what it's like. Welcome home, LeeAnn ;)
