Day Five Hundred and Ninety-Nine

The Day I About Lost It

It was just one of those days.
With the boys gone, Lee Ann and I were excited to do lots of fun girl things...like go outlet shopping...visit St. Augustine...or even go to Disney World. The weather had other things in mind. And whimsical girly adventures were not on the list. Ok. So, it just sorta went down from there. It poured all day long. No stopping it. The two of us, suffering wicked Cabin Fever, set out for some errands. And that's when I about lost my testimony. Hahahahaha ;) Between traffic, relentless rain, missing doctors, elusive Chase Banks, and an empty stomach, neither of us were having it.

But once at the doctor, this brightened up our cloudy day a bit. He walked into the room, and after saying hello, he looked at me and asked, "What church do you go to?" Uhm?? Excuse me? Catching me completely off guard, I sat up straight and told him that we'd just moved here and had visited First Baptist Downtown. He told me that he noticed my cross necklace (that I never remove) and that's when he whipped this little card from his shirt pocket and invited the two of us to join him and his church this Sunday. It was so sweet. And totally unexpected. But it made Lee Ann and I smile.

Meanwhile, in Jackson TENNESSEE...
Adam came "home" to this little note on his hotel nightstand. Ok...?

This picture came next. And I couldn't help but crack up! They couldn't move his suitcase and shirt from the bed??! I've never heard of that! Hahahha :) Adam is scheduled to pitch tomorrow (Saturday) in the second game of a double header. But with rainy weather up there too, it might not happen that way! Will keep y'all posted!
