The Free Carrie Suite
It's been quite the week of surprises. And I ain't complaining ;)
Two nights ago, Adam texted me this: "Hey, Guttierez has an extra Carrie Underwood concert ticket if you want to go with his girlfriend. It's during the game tomorrow." Liiiiiiike, what?! Uhm, YES PLEASE!!
So, I went! But as it turned out, Guttierez's girlfriend ended up getting really sick yesterday. Not wanting to waste the ticket, she gave it to another fiance on the team (named LeAnn) and we went together instead. It was a crazy fun night. We walked in excited to watch Carrie, and soon realized that not only were our tickets completely free, they were also tickets in the suites, with food and drinks included...for nothing! We couldn't believe it. Wow. What a special gift!
Meet LeAnn. My new friend. And a really really sweet one too! While we did enjoy the concert, we actually probably spent more time talking with each other than watching the show! She's just so precious, sincere, and totally easy to get along with. My heart was filled when I left the arena. Wow. I'm so thankful for this opportunity and the company I got to spend it with. This summer is going to be a fun one with her here!
