Day Four Hundred and Fifty-Six

The Jupiter Christmas Parade

South Florida is quite festive this time of year and we're not ones to complain! Yesterday afternoon, after a morning serving a bunch of adorable preschoolers at Family Church, we found our way to the Jupiter Parade with our dear friend Bob (the one from Greensboro)! We've not seen him for quite some time now, and had a huge amount to catch up on, so we sat, talked, and enjoyed a lovely 85 degree winter parade made up of bands, boy scouts, floats, cheerleaders, car tinters, Ford Raptors, karate choppers, and other parade-like things that I can't recall at the moment because I was talking so much. It was wonderful. Just a wonderful weekend.

It was especially wonderful because I finally set up our new printer! After an hour of work, I can finally enjoy the convenience of home printing! Hoory! A year was just too long to be without one anymore. The only problem now: I didn't think beforehand to buy any paper...!! Ugh! BUT, Canon did give me a 50% off coupon towards all paper products with the purchase of my printer! It's safe to say that once the shipment arrives in the mail, I won't have to go paper shopping at least for a little while. Ok, maybe a little longer than a little while...

(P.S...Please excuse my nasty bananas. I can't eat them fast enough but hate throwing them away...so like everything else in my apartment, I just hoard them until I have no choice but to toss them. Darnit!)
