The First Snow
As far as I'm aware, yesterday was Spokane's first snowfall. If that's not actually the case, then it was at least Adam and my first snowfall of 2012. And last one too. Hallelujah, thank goodness for that! We aren't much for snow any more. I think I stopped liking the snow my freshman year of college. Pullman hills and cold school mornings just don't mesh well. And ever since, the white stuff - while pretty and fun to look at - is not friendly company to me. Friends don't freeze your fingers and turn your toes blue. They don't give you a red runny nose. And they definitely don't stick around the front of your house, laughing as you fall, for 5 months of the year. Maybe this group of oversized turkeys can call the snow their friend. As for Adam and I, we'll pass ;)
But gosh is it beautiful! I can definitely appreciate that truth!
