Day Four Hundred and Six

The Rude Sunshine Sticker

After a week of mostly cave dwelling and couch living, the two of us were desperate for some Florida sunshine. Not for too long though. Otherwise we'd have turned into a couple of crabby lobsters. So, we grabbed our books and each a pale turquoise sun chair and laid out for 45 minutes. Adam is currently reading The Oddessey, well, at least trying to. We must have a super old edition or something...it was never that hard to read in high school. And me...I'm reading The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. It's unbelievable. Literally.

There's a real problem in Jupiter. And this is what it looks like. Ha! Way too often, we get these little advertisements left on our truck, and usually, we take them off immediately. But we didn't see this one before it was too late. Pouring rain melted the paper onto the windshield, and when the beating sun came out, it glued the paper right to the driver's side glass. Lame.

So, Adam used a wet rag, some water, and a little bit of patience to rub the "homemade" sticker off the windshield.

When Fourth Meal came around, Adam's appetite was relentless. It was 12:43 by the time he realized he was hungry again. So, we made chicken tacos. Of course. Oh, and 12:43...yeah, that's A.M., not P.M.
