Day Four Hundred and Eight

The Crossfit Gym of Jupiter

So yesterday, Adam and I were supposed to be frolicking on the beach with a photographer following behind us, snapping every mushy and adorable love shot possible. Well, the wind ruined that idea. Can't a girl get her anniversary photos?! Geeze! We've had to reschedule twice now due to weather and I'm getting sad. By the time we end up getting these taken, it'll probably be Christmas! :(

So instead of the beach, I found myself at Jupiter Crossfit. Not a bad trade, I guess. I'd heard of Crossfit before...it's all over sports channels and the internet, but I hadn't given it much thought. Until I saw a friend from church on a Facebook album by this Jupiter Crossfit group and I thought...hey! That might be fun! At 8:00 AM, the workout began. And by 8:30, I was already half-way home. It's unbelievable. SO FAST. But SO HARD. Plus, the workouts are already written for you and you get to complete them with a group of people. (Just like it was when I did track!). Hooray! This could be my way of finally meeting some friends here in Jupiter. But the steep price might keep me at bay. I thought a $40 Gold's Gym membership was high...Ugh. Decisions, decisions.

But good for me: this week is FREE! So, I'll be there every single morning. This is one of the workout "rooms." There are three of them in this little facility. The rest of the training is done outside. I really enjoy the pace of the workouts, the challenge they immediately pose, and the competitive atmosphere Crossfit creates. I just can't get over the monthly fee. Adam and I have until the end of the week to decide...
