The Dippin Dot Dasher
New experiences are always around the corner when you're almost 2 years old. For today, it was Dippin' Dots. And this kid. Oh gosh. He LOVES him some Dots! And although they gave Hunter more added energy than maybe necessary, it cooled his little tiny body off...and that's all that really matters. I don't think Ellie will ever again get away with going to the ballpark without this special treat. That's a lot of Dippin' Dots because we have a lot of baseball ahead! Good thing though...she can mask her ice cream obsession behind his and sneak in delicious bites herself!
We looked behind us and caught Hunter trying to stick a dinosaur in his belly button. He screamed and said, "See. See!" No words. Ellie and I exchanged puzzled looks and laughed.
Big Boy has really taken a liking to baseball. At times, we'll catch him saying, "basketball, basketball," and we have to remind him that he's not watching that sport. Instead, a much better one! Haha. It's all his dad's fault...as an avid basketball fan, Hunter hasn't really been exposed to too much baseball. Well, now he has. And I think he's hooked! He likes being really close to the action, and cheers at every given opportunity. Just like in this photo!
After the game, we had to find Uncle. Not only did we find him, we also got to run the bases with our Hammerhead too! Hunterman loves his Adam and is constantly searching for Uncle from the stands. Often times, we catch Hunter yelling for Adam at the players that come up to bat. It's pretty stinkin cute. And it's even cuter when Hunter gives Uncle kissys!
His first time on base! And he was terrified. Haha. He started warming up to the idea of standing on second, but once we put him on the dirt...forget about it! Hunter did not like the dirt.
And so, Adam carried him from base to base and touched every one. Hunter didn't prefer to touch them, but that's the rules! You have to touch the bases for it to count!
Running home together!
And look who was there waiting for him! Mama at Home! Yay! They are just too precious for words. We are having a blast and enjoying every bit of our time together. Tomorrow we leave for Viera to watch Uncle pitch again! And as Hunter would say, "Go go Hammerheads!"
