Day Two Hundred and Seventy-Seven

The Makeshift Sandals

The first text I received from my husband today read,
"My shower shoes today haha."
Attached was this picture.
I laughed. Really hard. Wrapped in ice bags, Adam bound his feet before entering the locker room shower. Hey, that's a good man right there! I really like and appreciate his attention to hygiene, especially when his cleanliness takes additional effort. Apparently, he accidentally left his shower flip flops at the clubhouse in Kannapolis last night, and so today at home in our team showers, he crafted his own. Also, I must comment on the blue towel. He told me a while ago that whenever he gets out of the shower at the locker room, he lays down a towel to avoid stepping on the dirty floor. So awesome!! Gosh, I love a clean man!

Following a ridiculously late home-cooked meal (we ate at midnight), we enjoyed an evening of magic tricks and card games. Adam and I stumped the room with our "Black Magic" magic. I don't think that trick will ever get old!
