Day Two Hundred and Sixty-Four

The Savannah Surprise

I spy with my little eye, something that is...handsome!
At this point in the day, Adam had no idea I was anywhere in sight. He thought I'd stayed home in Greensboro to enjoy a little "break" from the minor league life. Matter in fact, he wanted me to (later, I found out that he had planned a surprise day for me at the spa! He's so sweet). Well, instead of staying, I planned my own surprise. Alejandra and I made the 350 mile drive to Savannah this afternoon for our boys, and I must say, it was fun spying on him from the crowd. But not too long after, he spotted me in the crowd. Cover: blown. Oops. He was a tiny bit upset with me; he really wanted me to relax at home and "do my own thing." But, I couldn't resist. I love watching him work.

I love watching Jose work too! Especially when he's smiling!

He was so happy and excited to see Alejandra again. Their reaction was worth the 350 miles today. Definitely. We absolutely love spending time with these two and are so blessed to have them in our life. It's going to be a fun weekend, especially since Jose got the W tonight!

But of course, because we always seem to find ourselves in odd situations, this is how Alejandra and my time in Georgia started. Alejandra could not, for the life of her, find her keys. We both tore apart our purses, finding no sign of them. We panicked a little, fearing that we'd locked them in the car. I used a flashlight to peer into the dark window, but didn't have any luck. Then I jiggled the door handle. It opened immediately. Unlocked. I looked at her in a, "You've got to be kidding me" sort of way.

And then I found the keys. ALEJANDRA!
